Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama have won the Potomac Primaries, (Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland)! Senator McCain is the presumptive, republican nominee-awaiting Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul to concede. I believe Senator McCain is 300 delegates away from becoming the nominee.
Senator Barack Obama is now leading in the delegate race-but the race is still too close for either democrat candidate to brag. Senator Obama has now won in the northeast, south, west and the heartland. He definitely has momentum on his side as we await the upcoming races in Wisconsin and Senator Obamas' birth place-Hawaii.
Folks, I believe this race (on the republican side and democrat side) will be decided after the Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania primaries. However, do not quote me-stranger things have happened during this entire election season...I will say this, Senator Clinton needs to start winning! I hope her campaign is not pulling a Guilliani strategy of waiting to win. Not a good strategy as we witnessed Guillianis' demise in Florida.
