Top South Side| Chicago Neighborhoods!

Hyde Park/Kenwood/Bronzeville, located on the south side of Chicago, and seven miles or less (south of down town Chicago), are three very popular neighborhoods. Boundaries: Hyde Park is from Lake Shore Drive to Cottage Grove, Hyde Park Boulevard to 60th Street. Kenwood is from Lake Shore Drive to Cottage Grove, 43rd Street to Hyde Park Boulevard. Bronzeville is from 31st to 47th Street, from the Dan Ryan to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Hyde Park, is home to the University of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry and the Dusable Museum. It is a diverse community and considered one of the best places to reside in the country. Kenwood, boasts some of the largest homes in the city and was once considered one of the most "elite" neighborhoods in Chicago. Bronzeville (or Grand Boulevard), once known as the "Black Metroplis" is a historic community undergoing tremendous gentrification and potentially home to the 2016 Olympic Village. Bronzeville is also home to the Illinois Institute of Chicago and is a community within the Douglas neighborhood.

All three neighborhoods are considered diverse and family oriented, and very attractive because of there close proximity to down town Chicago, the Lake, and several of the best schools in the country.
